Frustration While Making Websites

Although I previously stated that making websites are not so bad, I must confess it can be extremely frustrating when one piece of the puzzle is missing and you can't get what you want.
I keep running into this problem with my movies page and it is very frustrating! Everything else works perfectly but the movies page and I am very close to giving up. I did everything I normally do when I create my page, I start with my html and then add the head, body, etc. Still, to no avail, no website.

I will investigate this further and post an update!

****UPDATE!!****

My movie page is now live!

BOOM! Thanks Professor Yen!

Making Websites/Blackboard

Before I took this course, I took an undergraduate computer science course. The basis was not to make a website and a blog, it was to understand computers and the millions of things that make up computers. In a word, the course was a blur. However, this course is very structured and centered on making our own websites and really utilizing html in simple terms. I am very thankful that I am understanding the html now rather than before; viewing code is not so daunting anymore.
One of my favorite things to do is look at people's blogs and websites and now I know how to make my own! It is very interesting to see how you can create your own code, or have a website maker help you. There are countless options and layouts and it is hard to make up my mind on the overall aesthetic!

Now, on to blackboard.
I only use a few things on blackboard:
-Academic
-Finding old courses
-Organization

I think blackboard is very easy to navigate. It would be very nice to have access to blackboard my whole life. It is easier than storing my files on my computer!

Overall, blackboard is helpful

Thoughts on Browsers

In general, I am online A LOT. When I do not have access to the internet, such as in coffee shops without free wifi, or in airports, or on the plane, or even in a waiting room to get my teeth cleaned, I grow anxious.
To help ease this anxiety, I have looked into sufficient web browsers.
So far I have used:
-Internet Explorer
-Safari
-Firefox
Overall:
Internet explorer was used when I had a PC, it worked well, no complaints!! Now I have a MAC which brings me to...
Safari. It started well, but then slowly it would begin to freeze on me. I gave up. I downloaded...
Firefox! Which I love. No problems! I will be a fire FOX for life!

I like a browser with organization, pleasant aesthetic, and ease! Firefox has it all!! You should DL it too!

A Post About My Awesome Group

Hi everyone!
This post is dedicated to my group members. So far we have done a lot and it is going extremely well.

We named our group "Steve Jobs' Zombie Army" and we are ready to attack!

What we decided on is a collaborate website where arts educators can go to help each other and provide resources. They can be lesson plans, links, news, experiences, and anything else teachers in our field can benefit from!

We have already created the website from google sites and it is looking great! I uploaded two lesson plans already.

Our group is on the right track!

Go team!

Update!

Hi people of the internet!
I have created new projects!!
The first one was my image project which can be found here:
https://files.nyu.edu/jcs550/public/images.html

The next project is my video project which I created using imovie!
I took pictures of my undergraduate theatre and dance department and made a slideshow movie!

You can find that project on my home page here:
https://files.nyu.edu/jcs550/public/

I am starting to get acquaintedwith my group members and we are in the initial stages of our group project. We are going to make a website of some kind to help other arts educators! Updates on that front soon!

I hope you have a great day!
